Nature Piazza Armerina
The city is surrounded not only by forests of the park hums, and other woods, to other sites from the prosperous nature, such as the Lake Olivo, reservoirs created for irrigation purposes, or the archaeological site of Mountain March , also wrapped in the green. Moreover, in a limited range, near Enna, opens the Pergusa Lake, nestled high enchanting natural reserve of the same name, or also the natural reserve Rossomanno Grottascura Bellia, part of which falls in its territory Armerina.
This reserve covers the forest Rossomanno, which takes its name from the mountain, a dense forest of which were recently retraced paths to encourage walking and hiking activities.
